The Discipline of Pharmaceutical Sciences focuses on a variety of aspects of the pharmaceutical industry, including research and development of drugs, toxicity testing of drugs for safety purposes, clinical (human) trials of drugs and pharmaceutical products, drug regulations and associated ethics related to the approval of drugs for public use, as well as sales and marketing of drugs and pharmaceutical products.
