Study tour and short term programs

Study tours and short programs are an affordable and interesting way of combining new experiences with your studies. There are many different opportunities offered by RMIT University and partner institutions. These programs are generally 2-4 weeks in duration and run outside of your semester dates.

Study Tours

Study Tours generally take place during the summer holidays or the mid-year break and they are all accompanied by an RMIT staff member. Often they are the result of years of relationship building between RMIT and overseas companies, institutions and governments. As a result, study tours can open doors that are closed to the everyday tourist. They provide an unusual opportunity to rapidly get to know the cultural and business environment of other countries.

There are several study tour models that run within RMIT.

Find out more information about travel grants for study tours.

For more information on upcoming study tours, please contact your school.

Short Term Programs

Short term programs are often offered during the northern hemisphere summer and are similar to study tours as they generally run for 2-4 weeks. RMIT offers places in partner university programs on an exchange (no fees) or study abroad (tuition fees payable to host) basis.
