Short courses and single courses

Single courses

Single courses are usually part of one of RMIT's accredited undergraduate or postgraduate programs. Students undertake single courses for a variety of reasons including:

  • Sampling tertiary study before committing to an undergraduate degree;.
  • Enhancement of academic achievements for selection into a University program;
  • Fulfilment of professional accreditation requirements; and
  • Acceleration of a degree program.

Short courses have been developed to improve performance at work or enhance career options, whilst others offer opportunities for life-long learning or and introduction to new areas of interest.
