Wheelchair access
A car parking space is available in Franklin Street, near the Bowen Street entrance to the campus. See also the City of Melbourne’s Information about City Access for People with Disabilities including the application form for a parking permit.
Wheelchair access from Swanston Street is via lifts, which are just inside the Building 8, main entrance.
Within the Library, nearly all-public areas are accessible to wheelchairs. Ask our staff where you can get to an internal lift that will take you to level 6 of the Library.
Toilet facilities are located just outside Swanston Library main doors.
