Melbourne Crime Mapping and Analysis Conference

13 - 14 November 2012

The 2012 Melbourne Crime Mapping and Analysis Conference will be a two day event which aims to provide researchers and practitioners with the opportunity to learn and share ideas on becoming more effective in their work.

With a focus on crime mapping, the conference will be of particular interest to analysts working in the related fields of law enforcement, criminal justice, public safety, security, defence, and the emergency services (including fire and ambulance).

Although the primary theme of the conference relates to mapping, content will also cater for the more general intelligence practitioners and data analysts. The conference and associated workshops will feature both international and local experts, who will share ideas and tips on best practice, as well as providing insights on the future directions of analytical technologies and methodologies.
