Microelectronics and Materials Technology Centre
The Microelectronic and Materials Technology Centre (MMTC) at RMIT University is one of Australia’s leading research centres specialising in micro- and nano-fabrication technologies. It has comprehensive facilities for the design and modelling, fabrication, packaging, and characterisation of micro- and nano-scale devices; enabling researchers to transform ideas into accessible technology.
The MMTC research focus areas include the fields of integrated optics, lab-on-a-chip devices, nanotechnology enabled devices, sensors, functional materials, microsystems, microelectronic devices, and RF/microwave technologies.
The MMTC is evolving into a new multidisciplinary MicroNano Research Facility scheduled to open in August 2014.
