Scholarships are available for women who are pursuing careers in non-traditional disciplines such as engineering and IT as well as for women from diverse backgrounds.

Degree

  • Boeing Scholarship For local advanced diploma, associate degree, bachelor, masters by coursework or research students enrolled in computer science, aviation or engineering disciplines; worth $4000; applications open 1 January 2015.
  • Inder Kaur Scholarship For female commencing local, current/past refugee degree students having financial difficulties; worth $7000 per year for up to three years; not currently taking applications.
  • Invergowrie Foundation Scholarships for Women For female students with difficulties/disadvantage and who are commencing an undergraduate degree in the College of Science, Engineering and Health; worth $3000 per year for up to four years; not currently taking applications.
  • SP AusNet Woman in Engineering Scholarship For local final year B Eng (Electrical) female students; worth $8000 and paid work placement; applications now closed.
  • School of Aerospace Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Women in Engineering Scholarship For local and international women commencing an engineering degree in 2015 in the School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering; worth $5000 for one year; applications close 2 January 2015.
