Draft course requisites policy
The draft version of the Course requisites policy is now closed for comment
The current policy was developed in 2001 at the time of the Peoplesoft student system implementation. The draft replacement arises from consultation with staff in schools and colleges in relation to decisions for the SAMS upgrade project, and was developed by a working group chaired by the Academic Registrar and comprising TAFE and higher education nominees from each college. It will allow for certain requisites to be enforced through the upgraded SAMS system from 2013, in contrast to the current situation where these can only be administered manually by schools.
Although the policy currently stands alone, please note the intention to incorporate this policy within the planned, streamlined Program Architecture/Design policy to be developed in 2012.
