Draft enrolment procedure

The draft version of the enrolment procedure is now losed for comment.

Staff involved in enrolment processes are invited to provide feedback on the draft Enrolment procedure by Friday 18 November 2011. The procedure is intended to provide a single set of operational requirements for enrolment-related processes including:

  • late enrolment
  • extension of enrolment entitlements in relation to assessment
  • attendance
  • variation of enrolment
  • directions to students to amend their enrolment
  • transfer of international students to another provider
  • leave of absence
  • cancellation of enrolment
  • concurrent enrolment
  • cross-institutional enrolment
  • exchange and study abroad
  • non-award enrolment
  • transfer of international students to a domestic place if their residency status changes
  • missing international students studying in Australia
  • death of a student

The procedure will subsume a number of detailed procedures currently in effect. It has been developed in consultation with the Enrolment Advisory Group, ESOS Working Group, Offshore Student Administration Advisory Group and the TAFE Business Process Improvement Group. It will subsume a number of detailed procedures related to enrolment.
