Who can refer?
The clinic accepts a wide range of referrals, including self-referrals, and referrals from parents, schools, doctors and other agencies. Permission will be sought from the client when a referral is made on their behalf.
A doctor’s referral is not needed to access the service, however a letter from a client’s GP or psychiatrist can help with ensuring continuity of care.
Please contact us to make a referral.
The RMIT University Psychology Clinic allocates clients according to our waiting list. Our waiting list times vary depending on the type of referral and the caseload of our clinicians. Clients will be advised of an approximate waiting time when the referral is made.
