Key activities

As Director of Research and Innovation in DSC I am responsible for assisting the Deputy PVC, Research and Innovation in establishing the strategic direction and overall management of research capability across the College. I am also responsible for supporting the growth and diversification of research income by providing leadership in identifying and developing strategic research partnerships and research opportunities both locally and internationally.

In this role I will work half of my time from the RMIT Europe office in Barcelona where I am developing research collaborations across Europe in my own research areas, as well as providing support and assistance for others in the College.

I supervise postgraduate students in the areas of media and communication for development, media anthropology and ethnography.
