A quiet place on the very busy City campus, the Spiritual Centre offers a place for communal reflection and individual meditation.

Building 11 will close for refurbishment in late 2014 and the City campus Multi-Faith Chaplaincy and Spiritual Centre/prayer rooms will be relocated. Find out more.

Centre facilities

Security access card

To access the prayer rooms in the Spiritual Centre you will need a security access card. To apply download the application form, complete and return it, in person, to the Chaplaincy office 10am – 2.30pm Monday to Friday.

Group bookings

Groups can book the Spiritual Centre for prayer, meetings and seminars. To book a room download the booking form, complete and return it to the Chaplaincy office.

Events and activities

We run free events and activities for students and staff at the Spiritual Centre – check out our yoga and meditation classes and spirituality workshops.

Brunswick and Bundoora

Prayer rooms are also available on Brunswick and Bundoora campuses.


Chaplaincy lounge

Description

The Chaplaincy lounge is a quiet space for people to come and take time out from the hustle and bustle of university life. You are welcome to drop in for a one-to-one chat with a chaplain about anything, or just for a quiet cup of coffee or tea.

Primary spiritual space for gathering, commemorations and services. The stunning interior includes a tapestry of the Tree of Life, woven by RMIT staff and students.
