Seminar of Research Applications in Information and Library StudiesRAILS4 continues and builds upon the theme of Linking Research with Practice, which has become an ongoing focus of the seminar series. This theme has the aim to build partnerships among educators, researchers and practitioners to ensure that a culture of informed and innovative practice is nurtured in the provision of library and information services (LIS).
RAILS4 is being organised by the School of Business Information Technology RMIT University, with generous support from the State Library of Victoria. The seminar will be held at the Village Roadshow Theatrette at the State Library on Friday 30th November 2007.
The seminar aims to bring together library and knowledge management practitioners, educators and researchers within the areas of library, information and knowledge management. New researchers are encouraged to attend the seminar, and/or to submit papers.
