The Australian JobSearch website’s Job Explorer provides information on skills, knowledge, abilities and job environment for each area. Job Outlook lists job prospects, weekly earnings, type of work and other useful occupational information. You can search each section alphabetically or by category.


Hobsons Good Guides Button

The Good Guides career search is a useful tool for locating information on duties, working conditions, personal requirements and related courses. It can be searched by field of work, type of work, skill level and job name.


JobGuide Button

The Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST) JobGuide lists an introduction to interest area, personal requirements, related jobs and state/territory specific information. It can be searched by job name or alphabetically and has an advanced search feature.


myfuture Button

The myfuture website includes comprehensive information on occupations including duties, specialisations, work conditions, earnings, related industries, labour market status, jobs and courses. They can be accessed either alphabetically, by industry or by occupational group.
