  • Course ID 053769 Financial Planning Regulatory Obligations

Course Description

The purpose of this course is to introduce students to a range of financial planning processes and its activities, examining typical client advice scenarios that are encountered by a financial adviser. In this course students will be introduced to applications in financial planning. The development of appropriate and relevant financial advice for clients requires the integration of a range of skills and a substantial body of technical knowledge. This body of knowledge includes areas such as investment analysis, taxation planning, risk management and insurance planning, superannuation planning for retirement, estate planning, family law and social security issues.

Students will have the opportunity to discuss and develop potential financial planning strategies and solutions.
