Course Description

Doing business internationally calls for special insight. Especially when navigating the often-complex world of international regulations and requirements. Whether you want to optimise your international operations, or you are looking for expansion opportunities, the most decisive factor for success in business is the available management know-how which enables an enterprise to meet the wide range of foreign market requirements. The aim of this Global Business Consulting course is to transfer the varying aspects of management know-how and knowledge with practical application.

Against this background, the manager is expected to fulfill new, cooperative and interdisciplinary tasks - and has to act as an initiator or management analyst but also as an accelerator for changes within the company. The course will focus on managers who are responsible for the strategic and operative task to start or restructure the company in cross-functional and cross-organisational teams – in cross-border markets including, international business development, market research, feasibility studies, market analysis and selection, market entry strategy, lead generation, partner search, brand development, overseas marketing and promotion, public relations, product launch and trade show support services.

Students will undertake and be assessed on structured activities that allow you to learn, apply and demonstrate your professional or vocational practice; and be involved in authentic engagement with partner organisations that include industry feedback.
