Course Description

This course introduces you to concept and principles of financial modelling. You will design and implement financial models, conduct data and sensitivity analysis, implement portfolio models and simulations. You will explore how to use Excel to model financial problems and process financial data effectively.

On successful completion of this course you will be able to:

CLO1: Recognize the concept and principles of financial modelling.

CLO2: Manage financial data using Excel and VBA.

CLO3: Perform data analysis of financial market data to facilitate decision making.

CLO4: Analyze financial problems and generate solutions with Excel and VBA techniques.

CLO5: Evaluate financial modelling findings to decision makers, stakeholders and the general public.
