Course Description
This unit covers the skills and knowledge required to use a range of industrial sewing sewing machines to align and sew work pieces.
It applies to sewing work using a plain lockstitch machine, zigzag sewing machine or a three thread overlocker to sew straight seams or join flat pieces of stable fabric together.

Assessments will be in the form of tests for underpinning knowledge and demonstration and observation of your abillity to use a single sewing machine to align and sew work pieces. Also by questioning for underpinning knowledge.
