Course Description
This course is designed to give you the skills and knowledge required to plan, organise and coordinate production operations.
Work involves working independently as well as some team work activities. You will be accountable for own performance, including carrying out assigned tasks, coordinating processes and setting and working to deadlines.
This course is delivered concurrently (clustered) with one of the following electives:
Design and Produce Printed Textiles (MANU7227C)
Produce Knitted Textile Products (VART 5914C)
Design and Produce Woven Products (VART 5916C)
Please ensure you are enrolled in both courses after you select your elective.

Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this course you will have developed and applied the skills and knowledge to demonstrate competency in the above elements.
Overview of Assessment
The project will require students to be actively involved in group discussions during sessions and to undertake project work in a professional manner.
They will also prepare and production plan and be expected to attend regular meeting with supervisors to establish work process and planning .
To achieve successful completion of this course students must demonstrate an understanding of all elements of competency.
Assessment tasks have been designed to measure achievement of each competency in a flexible manner.
Students will be awarded a grade only if competency has been demonstrated within the standard enrolment period on the first assessment attempt.
