Course Description
This course specifies the workplace performance required by an individual responsible for ongoing management of work health and safety (WHS) within an area of management responsibility where the WHS management processes have been set up by other persons, either internal or external to the organisation. Application of this course should be contextualised to reflect any specific workplace risks, hazards and associated safety practices.

Assessment may include observations, questioning and evidence gathered from the workplace. In cases where the learner does not have the opportunity to cover all relevant aspects in the work environment, the remainder should be assessed through realistic simulations, projects, previous relevant experience or oral questioning on ’What if?’ scenarios.
