Course Description

In this course you will develop the skills and knowledge required to replace electronic components, cabling and sub-systems of electronic apparatus. It will include testing, dismantling and assembing apparatus, using equipment (including soldering equipment) and tools correctly and disconnecting and reconnecting components to repair electronic apparatus faults. 

This course is delivered and assessed with the following: UEEEC0005 - Assess electronic apparatus compliance

Pre-requisite Courses and Assumed Knowledge and Capabilities

Pre-requisite units: 

  • UEECD0007 - Apply work health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace; and
  • UEECD0019 - Fabricate, assemble and dismantle utilities industry components
