Course Description

In this course you will learn the skills and knowledge required to design signal-conditioning sub-systems incorporating digital and analogue elements. You will develop understanding on how to: 

  • follow a design brief
  • apply knowledge of digital and analogue devices
  • interpret device specifications
  • construct prototypes
  • test developed system prototype operation; and 
  • document design and development work

This course is delivered and assessed with the following: 

  • UEECD0016 - Document and apply measures to control WHS risks associated with electrotechnology work
  • UEERE0013 - Develop strategies to address environmental and sustainability issues in the energy sector; and
  • UEEEC0017 - Develop engineering solutions to analogue electronic problems
