Open Universities Australia – Bachelor of Technology (Computing Studies)

"Open Universities Australia"

RMIT University has partnered with Open Universities Australia (OUA) to offer the Bachelor of Technology (Computing Studies) as an alternative to on-campus study.

Managed by the School of Computer Science and Information Technology, this degree replaces the previous OUA offering, the Bachelor of Applied Science (Information Technology).

Note: Students currently undertaking the OUA Bachelor of Applied Science (Information Technology) will be transitioned into the Bachelor of Technology (Computing Studies).

The Bachelor of Technology (Computing Studies) is designed to give you a foundation in programming and IT fundamentals, while also offering you the chance to engage with topics outside the realm of IT and to gain a range of non-IT skills.

Taught completely online, this innovative degree is composed of a minimum of 50% computing and IT content, with the remainder a combination of a non-IT minor study area and a choice of IT or non-IT electives.

The flexible design of the program lends itself to maximum articulation from other degrees or diplomas and coupling with other degrees.
