Lynette Morero, Director
Masters (Health Admin), B. Business (HRM)
Lynette has extensive experience in strategic planning, quality
improvement and human resources in the health care industry. She has a Bachelor of
Business majoring in Human Resource Management and a Masters in Health Administration.
Over the last 19 years she has worked in Queensland and in Western Australia in hospitals,
central office environments and a regional health authority. Her most previous position
was Executive Director Organisational Development at King Edward Memorial and Princess
Margaret Hospitals in Perth. This position covered human resources, staff development,
continuous improvement and best practice. In her spare time Lynette enjoys walking, yoga,
movies and reading, particularly crime fiction.

Meredith Carrington
B.App.Sci. (Consumer Science)
Meredith has had several years experience in the quality field in both manufacturing and
service industries. Prior to entering the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector
of Melbourne Institute of Textiles, she worked for five years in the Automotive Industry.
During this time she gained extensive knowledge of various quality assurance systems and
associated tools such as problem solving, team work, statistical process control, product
quality testing, product design, internal quality auditing and quality planning. Amongst
other things, she is currently involved in Organisational Self Assessment at RMIT, and the
management of the Quality Awards Scheme.

Vera Joosten
B.Arts, TPTC, Grad.Dip.Vocational Counselling MAPS
Vera has extensive experience and knowledge of the Vocational and
Educational Training sector and has been closely involved with the Training Reform Agenda
since its inception and has worked on most of the major projects connected with the
reforms. Before coming to RMIT, Vera was the Assistant Director at the College of
Printing, where her focus was to develop client focused learning programs. Vera is also a
qualified psychologist and has worked extensively in increasing the productivity of teams
and conflict reduction in dysfunctional work teams. She has a long standing interest in
the different ways students learn and has developed specific courses to help students
maximise their learning process, especially in the fields of mathematics and technology
She is the author of Career Selection Testing a book published by Nelson Wadsworth,
Australia. Designed to assist people develop their capacity to learn and sit for selection
tests.

Paul Martin
BSc, Dip. Computer Science
Paul has a technical, but more predominantly a planning background from the private
sector. This planner has wide ranging experience in strategic and business planning
processes, from developing directions and strategies, through to monitoring and reporting
of progress. As part of the Quality Unit, he is keen to adapt the successful processes of
the quality assurance systems to widen/strengthen the role of planning within the
University.

Fiona Wahr
Fiona is currently on secondment duties at the Planning &
Quality Unit. She is mainly involved in quality improvement activities.

Sue Scarlett
B.Ed., Grad.Dip. Innovation and
Service Management
Sue Scarlett is a tertiary
qualified educator with experience in Higher Education sector in several fields. She has a
Diploma in Innovation and Service, which focuses on organisational change and management
interventions intended to foster quality. Sue has eight years of corporate experience,
management and quality development roles development of teams. Currently Sue is the
Student Feedback Project Manager.
In her leisure hours Sue enjoys
cycling, sailing, yoga and traveling.

Dr Kate Patrick
Kate is currently on secondment duties in the Quality Unit and is
acting in the role of Program Quality Manager.
