Program Description – Diploma of Visual Merchandising

The Diploma of Visual Merchandising has grown to be the most exciting and effective program of its type in Australia. The visual merchandising industry involvement in the program has provided an excellent network and contributes to the great success of the program.

Through the involvement of the industry we are producing graduates who are multi skilled and able to meet industry demands and requirements.

The Diploma of Visual Merchandising is a 2 year full-time program. It contains a wide variety of courses, all with a hands on approach. There is a balance of individual and teamwork. The students are kept busy creatively, learning new skills that will stay with them for life and building the foundations for a career as a visual merchandiser.

The 2 year Diploma program commenced as a training package in 2006 and has been reviewed with industry consultation to meet current industry standards. The first year concentrates on building up basic skills and knowledge required for the visual merchandising industry and the second year looks at refining skills and guiding students to complete the program successfully ready to tackle a demanding and challenging industry.
