RMIT Research Committee
This is a standing committee of the Academic Board responsible for providing policy, strategic and planning recommendations across the breadth of issues around research and innovation, and research training at RMIT.
RMIT Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC)
The primary role of the Human Research Ethics Committee is to protect the welfare and rights of participants in research.
Portfolio Research Committee
Similar to the University Research Committee; it considers portfolio-specific research matters.
Portfolio Human Research Ethics Subcommittee
All research by RMIT staff or students involving humans as subjects must have written approval of this committee or, where appropriate, the RMIT Human Research Ethics Committee.
