About the Entrepreneur in Residence Program

The RMIT Entrepreneur in Residence program is the only one of its type in Australia.

All RMIT students and staff have access to a highly experienced business person, consultant and entrepreneur who they can talk to and get individual advice about their concepts for new or existing businesses.

Marcus Powe, RMIT’s Entrepreneur in Residence also runs workshops in business planning and marketing, and hosts several Entrepreneurship Forums and other events each year. All students, staff and alumni are welcome to attend these events.

Why an Entrepreneur in Residence?

RMIT's students and staff can benefit greatly from exposure to experienced and successful business people who they can bounce ideas off and get feedback and practical advice and suggestions from.

What you know and who you know are both very important to business success. Marcus has lots of networks and contacts in the business community – in other words he is an invaluable resource available for you to tap into.
