Paul Carter is a writer and artist.
Professor of Design (Urbanism) at RMIT University and Creative Director of the design studio Material Thinking

His forthcoming book is Meeting Place: The Human Encounter and the Challenge of Coexistence (University of Minnesota Press). His article 'Emargination: The Pedagogy of Ambience' will appear in Architectural Theory Review 18:2 (2013).
Current projects include 'Choreotopography', a program for the Dandenong Municipal Building and Civic Square development and 'The Dramaturgy of Turbulence (supported by the Institute of Interweaving Performance Cultures, Berlin).
