This symposium, hosted by RMIT in November 2014, will discuss key topics facing the journalism and media industries, now and in the future.
The symposium is presented by the Centre for Communication, Politics and Culture (CPC) in association with RMIT’s nonfictionLab Research Group.
The Symposium will be launched on the evening of 13 November with a keynote address by co-founder of the Sydney Democracy Network, Professor John Keane. This will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Antony Loewenstein, Dr Suelette Dreyfus and Professor John Keane, moderated by Associate Professor Chris Hudson, Co-Director of the RMIT Communication, Politics and Culture Research Centre. This event will take place from 5:30pm – 7:30pm at RMIT’s Radio Theatre, Building 9, Level 1, Room 2, Bowen Street, Melbourne.
