RMIT presents BRAINWAVES - a symposium about game design, artistic practice and health science. The TEDx style event will feature experts in the area of neurological impairment and disability.
BRAINWAVES explores the intersection of game design, artistic practice and health science with a particular focus on personal wellbeing. The symposium will draw on a wealth of interdisciplinary, creative collaborations to discuss game design, new media art and its potential to have significant impact on the lives of those living with neurological impairment and disability.
In a TEDx style format, leading experts will deliver 20 minute presentations on their research specialization, discussing industry collaboration and reflecting on how their designs create impact.
At the end of the six sessions, BRAINWAVES experts will engage in a lively Q & A moderated by Vicki Sowry (TBC) from Australian Network for Art and Technology.
