The opening night of an iconic German design exhibition, celebrated with bretzels and German beer.
To celebrate the successful international tour of the design exhibition by ifa (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen) RMIT Gallery, as the last venue to host the Ulm exhibition, are inviting guests to join us for bretzels and German beer at the exhibition opening.
To be opened by Michael R Pearce SC, Honorary Consul-General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Melbourne, with a special address by Dr Arpad Sölter, the Director of the Goethe-Institut Australien, and Dr. Martin Mäntele, director of the HfG-Archive.
RMIT Gallery is located at 344 Swanston Street, Melbourne, near the corner of Swanston and La Trobe Streets (Melways reference: 1A J4).
The gallery is located diagonally opposite Melbourne Central Railway Station and can be reached by trams traveling on Swanston and La Trobe Streets, including the City Circle Tram.
