Sheryl Thai is a graduate of RMIT’s Bachelor of Business, Business Information Systems (2006).
Founder of Cupcake Central and Cofounder of the League of Extraordinary Women
Sheryl is the Founder of Cupcake Central. She started her career in the IT industry. During the economic downturn, Sheryl was made redundant and started her own small cupcake business in 2009. By 2012, she had grown the business to include masterclasses, workshops and 3 retail stores across Melbourne.
Sheryl was named the Australian Startup Awards ‘Entrepreneur of the Year 2013’, and has published the cookbook, Hatch That Dream. Cupcake Central supports community organisation SecondBite, providing surplus food to people in need.
Sheryl is also the Cofounder of the League of Extraordinary Women, Australia’s fastest-growing resource for female entrepreneurs.
