Kevin Muscat, coach of Melbourne Victory, will visit RMIT to share his thoughts on leadership and management, based on his experiences as a leader on the field and as head coach of Melbourne Victory.
Following a brief presentation from Kevin, you will be able to participate in a question and answer session, facilitated by Professor Mark Farrell, Head of the Graduate School of Business and Law.
You will have an opportunity to pre-submit a question on the registration form. The best question asked, as determined by Professor Mark Farrell, will win a signed Kevin Muscat Jersey.
Following a distinguished career on the pitch, Kevin Muscat has quickly established himself as one of Australia's leading coaches.
Muscat made a name for himself as a player in the United Kingdom with Crystal Palace, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Rangers, and Millwall before returning to Australia in 2005 as Melbourne Victory's inaugural captain.
The Australian international made 138 appearances for Victory, leading the club to the prestigious Hyundai A-League Premiership-Championship double in 2006/07 and 2008/09.
Muscat retired from professional football in 2011, entering the next phase of his career as a coach.
He was appointed head coach of Melbourne Victory in 2013 and made an immediate impact, guiding the club to its record-breaking third Premiership-Championship double in his first full season at the helm.
Muscat, who was also named Hyundai A-League Coach of the Year in 2014/15, is contracted at Victory until the end of the 2017/18 season.
