RMIT Open Day, AKA NextFest, is your chance to experience what it is like to be an RMIT student. Feel right at home as you get to know your surroundings, explore the campus, meet your future teachers, ask questions and make friends. It is your opportunity to learn all the tips and tricks from current students and alumni.

If you couldn’t make it to Open Day and want to see what RMIT’s campuses have to offer, you should check out the upcoming September school holiday campus tours.

If you’ve got burning questions about your study options, you don’t have to wait for an Open Day to find the answers. Get in contact with the Study@RMIT team, who can give you the answers you’re after.

Absolutely! Open Day is a great way for parents and guardians to get an insight into university life, explore our campus and have all your questions answered. 

RMIT Open Day really is for everyone, especially parents and students. We’ve even compiled a list of reasons to attend NextFest with your teen. You can also check out our specialised parents page for more resources and information.  

Not at all, NextFest is available for all year levels! We encourage you to bring your family and friends along to experience RMIT Open Day with you.

Our campuses are easily accessible by car and are well-serviced by a broad network of public transport options that include train, tram and bus.

We recommend planning ahead and visiting the Public Transport Victoria website for timetables, tickets and information for your preferred public transport option.
