Executive Director, Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce
After a distinguished career, Geoff Gwilym was appointed the Executive Director of the Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce (VACC) in December 2014. Geoff has built an extensive career portfolio in the area of training and skills development. His career has included roles as CEO of Auto Skills Australia and the Transport and Logistics Industry Skills Council (TLISC). At both the TLISC and ASA Geoff oversaw research relating to labour skills development and supply, enabling him to advise both industry and government on relevant policy.
Geoff has an extensive and in-depth understanding of the training sector, particularly the Australia Vocational Education and Training (VET) system and the specific labour market challenges associated with a sustainable supply of flexible skills demanded by the Australian logistics and supply chain management sector.
