The Politics of Remembering Violence, Communication, Politics & Culture, Vol. 48 (special issue) and a war photographic exhibition by Bronek Kozka will be launched at RMIT's Design Hub.
RMIT University's School of Media and Communication, Centre for Communication, Politics and Culture (CPC) and the Latin American Research @ RMIT (LAR) are launching a Special Issue of the Journal for Communication, Politics and Culture about the politics of remembering violence.
The launch will be accompanied by the war photographic exhibition by Bronek Kozka, RMIT Photography Lecturer.
RMIT Adjunct Professor Morry Schwartz will be guest speaker at this event, an event that will examine the politics of remembering and understanding violence in past and contemporary historical events and places.

Adjunct Professor Schwartz has been a publisher since 1973 when he first established Outbound Press, one of the first Australian independent book publishers. He is the director of BlackInc Books and the publisher of the Quarterly Essay and The Monthly. In a bold move, he also recently launched a new weekly newspaper The Saturday Paper.
