Discover just what it takes to make your mark on the city.
The Built Environment is not just the skyscrapers we see and homes we live in, it’s the roads we drive on, the transport we take and the parks we relax in and sporting events we attend. At its core it’s influences the way we experience life and relate to each other.
Take part in two workshops and experience the way project management and property professionals work together to create spaces that shape our lives in a series of hands on workshops.
What you will experience:
Deal or No Deal - Pit yourself against others to see who can pull off the Development Deal as you experience some of the dynamics and pathways in this major employment sector as you make decisions about developing retail space.
Party Time - In this session you will learn how to think big and effectively organise and scope a launch party, including thinking big on concept, identifying risks and scoping the project to make sure the event launches is a great success (and a lot of fun).
You'll get help from a team of volunteers, and the opportunity to discuss exciting careers from the Project Management Institute, Ericsson and RMIT staff over pizza.
Who should attend?
The Built Environment Experience is for you if you:
- have a keen interest in property and project management
- want a career with a lot of potential to make an impact and shape cities
- want to find out how you about the breadth of opportunities and careers can be involved in.
