Partnerships & Business Development

The Partnerships and Business Development group (P&BD), located in the School of Global Studies, Social Science and Planning, operates at the commercial edge of RMIT University’s research and teaching, catering for both internal and external clients' needs. We provide an interface between industry and the School of Global studies, Social Science and Planning and RMIT University.

We offer tailored training for industry clients to suit a range of needs including professional development of staff, policy developments in the industry, strategic planning, leadership and mentoring programs and research design and application.

P&BD was established in 2005 following the completion of a large Victorian Department of Human Services training project.

P&BD provides an interface between industry and the School of Global studies, Social Science and Planning and the University, working pro-actively to attract new organisations and is always available to discuss individual requirements. The group offers easy access to academic expertise from any of the School’s areas of study:

P&BD leads and coordinates collaborative activities with the School’s Partners as well as administering wider partnerships, including those internationally.
