- Novell Directory Service (NDS) is the RMIT wide identifier of students. Student NDS is generated at enrolment
- Remote Dial-in Service (RDS) provides remote access to all students registered on the NDS

- NetStorage file storage service Provides access to your RMIT H:// drive from the internet using a standard web browser
- Windows Vista Lists browser based applications that have been tested against Vista
- Wireless network Connection to the RMIT internal network and internet from wireless hotspots
