Downloads

Endnote has files that you can use to “connect” to library catalogues, “filter” citations from database searches and change the “style” of your bibliography.

Sometimes you may need the additional files we have listed here:

1. Connections (instructions for downloading)

2. Filters (instructions for downloading)

3. Styles (instructions for downloading)

4. Direct export

Instructions for downloads

You must save the file to the EndNote program folder.

  • For PCs, the location will be: C:\Program Files\EndNote\
  • For Macs the location will be:/Applications > EndNote

The file must be saved into its relevant sub-folder (Connections, Filters, Styles).

Instructions for Factiva

Search Factiva using Internet explorer as the browser.

  • At the results display, mark the references you want.
  • Click the computer diskette icon and select Article Format to display the tagged references.
  • Use Save As on Internet explorer's File menu to save the references as a .txt text file.

Then in EndNote, import the saved .txt file using the Factiva filter
