Our Bundoora campus is a vibrant centre of learning located 18 kilometres from Melbourne’s city centre.
The campus is divided into East and West by Plenty Road and offers many of RMIT’s engineering, health and medical science programs.
The campus is close to tram and bus services and plenty of parking is available.
Campus facilities and services
UniLodge @ RMIT Bundoora offers 370 beds for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The accommodation is first class and there are a variety of studio apartments to choose from for those who love their own
independence and space, there are large two, three and four bedroom shared apartments.
All apartments are ultra modern, fully furnished and ready to move into, with:
- built in wardrobe/storage
- study desk and chair
- appliances, including fridge/freezers
- microwaves and cook tops.
Rent includes not just a fully furnished apartment and great communal facilities, but electricity, water and unlimited high-speed internet – there are no extra bills to pay at the end of each month.

Bundoora has two libraries located at our East and West campuses.
No matter what you study, you’ll have access to our collection of print and electronic books, periodicals, magazines, videos, images, audio, computer software, films, newspapers and maps. You’ll also have access to material from other RMIT libraries and libraries around Australia and the world.
Numdaji Kwei Children's Centre is a community-based, parent-run co-operative located at the Bundoora West campus. Visit the Centre’s page for enrolment information.
Health sciences teaching clinics
RMIT’s teaching clinics offer Chinese medicine, chiropractic, osteopathy and psychological services. The clinics are staffed by our senior students who work under the supervision of registered practitioners.
RMIT Bundoora is home to a number of top teaching and learning facilities and spaces that promote collaboration and active learning.
Recreation and social spaces
Our Bundoora campus is known for its top sporting facilities, including the Netball and sports centre, athletics track, and sports fields.
There are plenty of outdoor spaces, including the scarred tree heritage walk and local parks and bushland.
RMIT Link and the Student Union are the heart of student life. They hold many events and activities on campus for you to get involved in.
