After completing Diploma of Nursing in her home country, China, Louisa came to Melbourne to continue further into her studies as an aspiring nurse.
RMIT University, Melbourne
I have placement in each semester which improved my nursing skills and knowledge base.
She currently studies Bachelor of Nursing at the Bundoora Campus, and enjoys the “beautiful architecture” and the “various courses” that RMIT has to offer. Having placement each semester is another element of her program she believes will be beneficial for her career.
“I would recommend this program because being a nurse is a fantastic job. You can find fulfilment in helping patients and solving problems.”
Louisa moved to Melbourne not only for her passion for nursing, but she had also heard from many people and through the news that “Melbourne is one of the best places to live in”.
About her best experiences in Melbourne, she comments, “I got a chance to watch free footy. I was able to make friends from different countries and learn about their cultures. I even had a chance to introduce Chinese culture and sing a traditional song at my church on a multicultural night.” But most excitedly, she says, “I really love the coffee here in Melbourne”.
