Information Security and Assurance postgraduate programs
The School of Mathematical and Geospatial Sciences offers three programs in the area of Information Security and Assurance. Our staff are highly trained and qualified with many years of teaching, research and consulting experience. They are committed to providing a quality educational experience for every student which will ensure that each participant obtains a solid foundation of knowledge that they are then able to apply in industry, business and research.
The Graduate Diploma and Masters programs are accredited by the Australian Computer Society.

The staff teaching into the Information Security and Assurance programs have close research links with Biometric Institute, sit on the advisory board of the Victorian eSecurity cluster SECIA and have held research grants in the security area totalling more than a million dollars over the last seven years, including ARC Linkage Grants and Department of Defence grants.
