At just 23 years old, RMIT graduate Eileen Chu is making an impact on the New York fashion scene.
A graduate of RMIT's Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Technology (now the Associate Degree in Fashion Design and Technology), Eileen has interned for Marc Jacobs, and worked for Yeojin Bae and Mimco.
She is now working in New York City in the incredible role of Production Pattern Maker, for Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen's iconic label “The Row“.
“As a patternmaker I assist in the way clothes are sewn together, kind of like a jigsaw puzzle – everything needs to match on paper in order for the clothes to be sewn correctly" said Eileen.
