Higher Degree by Research candidate Onnida Thongpravati recently received the HDR Publications Grant Success.
“The receipt of this award is very timely,“ Ms Thongpravati said.
“My research is the first empirical study to model the role of Absorptive Capacity, an emerging organisational dynamic learning capability.
“These concepts are predicted to influence new product program performance and facilitate the emergence of ’true to type’ breakthrough products.“
Ms Thongpravati’s research is titled “Market-Driving Innovation: Understanding the Critical Success Factors at the Front End of the Development Process“.
Over the next 3 months, she will be focusing on writing articles for two top marketing and innovation journals; The Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science (JAMS) and The Journal of Product Innovation Management (JPIM).
“The publication of research is incredibly important, especially for PhD students and applying for this award is something I would encourage all eligible students to do,“ Ms Thongpravati said.
We wish her all the best!
