Program Code - Title: BH039 - Bachelor of Business (Economics and Finance) (Honours)
City campus
An honours program may be undertaken by high achieving students. This is a separate program undertaken at the completion of the final year of study. Students doing the Applied degree may apply to enter the honours stream at the end of the second year of full time and be exempted from the third year Work Integrated Learning requirements. Alternatively, the honours program may be taken as an extra year of study after the bachelor degree.
Prospective students should discuss their plans with the Honours Coordinator in second year, or prior to making an application. The selection process may include an interview.
Class sizes are small and the program is rigorous. Research, analytical and communication skills are developed for superior job market preparation, or further postgraduate studies. A research project/thesis in the student’s area of interest or expertise is a significant component of the program.
