2014 Enrolment Program Structure

To graduate you must complete the following:

  Option 1: Coursework - If you enter the MEd to do 6x24 credit points of coursework electives, there are no pre or co-requisites. However, you must undertake at least 12cp of Research Methods which can be selected from the common MEd electives
 
OR  Option 2: Extended Independent Study. You MUST complete 1x24 or 2x12 credit points of Research Methods, one MUST be either OTED2097 or OTED1029 before commencing Extended Independent Study A. Plus 3 other electives from the common MEd electives.
 
OR  Option 3: Minor Thesis - you MUST complete 1x24 or 2x12 credits of Research Methods, one of which MUST be either OTED2097 or OTED1029, before commencing your Minor Thesis. Plus 2 other electives from the common MEd electives.
 

This program will be discontinued at the end of 2014.

This program is not available for new students.

Part time study is not available in 2014.

Your recommended research strategies course is OTED1029 Approaches to Research in Education. If you wish to study HWSS2123, COMM2068 or PHIL1000 you will need to discuss your enrolment with your program director.

Students undertaking HWSS2123 Careers in Practice need to have completed HWSS2192 and HWSS2193.
