With a strong emphasis on reflective change-oriented practice, the aim of the project has been to build the capacity of community health agencies to evaluate and report on their Integrated Health Promotion programming using strengthened narrative annual reporting. It is designed as a process to enable health promotion staff, practitioners, community members and management to have an increased opportunity to reflect upon their activities as part of annual work plan evaluation cycles. University collaborators have worked with more than 70 lead staff and management through the NEAR pilot Phase 1, 2 and 3. The current Phase 4 evaluation has been completed in 2011.
