Employment relations are being studied in comparative contexts.
This project is part of an international research network INTREPID which is exploring and comparing employment relations practices in Australia, UK, Ireland, Spain, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Belgium, Mexico and Argentina. The Australian team consists of Professor Pauline Stanton and Dr Gitika Sablok RMIT, Professor Timothy Bartram La Trobe, Professor John Burgess Curtin and Dr Brendan Boyle Uni of Newcastle. Overseas members of the network are well known academics in the field from universities including University of Limerick, Queens university Belfast, de Mountford University, Warwick Business School, King College London, University of Montreal. Currently papers are being developed and written drawing on a comparative international database the Australian data was funded from an ARC Discovery.
