The Centre for Education, Training and Work in the Asian Century critically engages with debates about what the development of an Asian century means for education, training and work.
In this context, we engage with and analyse emerging understandings of changing forms of education, training and work; childhood, youth and young adulthood; relationships and family structures; culture, politics and the economy; development, migration and strategic relations. The Centre contributes to debates about how these experiences are marked by growth, development and opportunities, and by crisis, marginalisation and exploitation.
The Centre for Education, Training and Work in the Asian Century hosts a number of events including seminars, workshops and public lectures. Recordings have been made available where possible.
